Tower 2 - Pearson

Sept. 10/10 - Tower Base concrete being poured - wait for foundation to cure

Sept. 16/10 - PV System footings to be drilled and mounted to Granite rock

Sept. 30/10 - Crew heading up to mountain - PV system, enclosure to be setup - system to be commissioned - TIME TO TURN POWER ON!!!!

Oct. 3/10 - Tower erected, Kestrel e150 600watt Wind Turbine installed, Day4 48MC 185 watt x 3 Solar Panels installed, enclosure wired up and powered on!  Repeaters to be mounted to tower and connected to enclosure - once this is done and communication with the repeaters are tested - residents are good to go with high speed internet!

                                                                                       

Dec. 30/10 - Pearson service call for Kestrel windmill - the conditions were 2-3 feet of snow and as low as -20 degrees Celscius; this service call required a snowmobile trek up the Pearson mountain and a snowshoe hike about 3 miles to the tower location.  Task completed and back to somewhat warmer climate in Vancouver to celebrate New Year's Eve!
