Future Energy brings you Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV)

Future Energy provides custom BIPV solutions.  BIPV is the use of Solar Panels to generate electricity while functioning as part of the building.  Some BIPV solutions include roof tiles, walls, and glass.

Here is a new product solution we have that incorporates two sheets of glass each 3mm to 6mm of thickness that surrounds silicon cystalline.  This Photovoltaic Glass Unit (PVGU) replaces insulated glass units and can be used for windows, awnings, skylights, walkway covers to name a few applications.  On window applications, PVGU acts as an insulator as well, minimizing heat transfer to outside in cool days and heat transfer to the inside on hot days.  PVGU is a custom solution and the glass can be made in the sizing you require for your project.
